Gateway Community & Technical College seeks a Donor & Community Relationship Specialist to grow its donor and community network through relationship development, stewardship, and fundraising. You will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects, pursuing strategic asks under Advancement leadership.

This front-line role emphasizes external engagement with corporate, nonprofit, and civic partners, plus campus events and impact communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong ability to build and maintain donor relationships and partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Donor Cultivation, Fundraising & Moves Management: manage an assigned portfolio of mid-level donors and prospective donors.
• Execute moves-management strategies to qualify, cultivate, solicit, steward, renew, and deepen relationships.
• Make appropriate small and mid-level philanthropic asks and move donors toward meaningful engagement.
• Community Relationship & Prospect Development: develop and cultivate prospective donor relationships across sectors.
• Maintain an active presence at community, business, industry, chamber, and College events.
• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM and document engagement and moves.
• Attend internal events and coordinate introductions to showcase Gateway to donors.
• Other duties as assigned and proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
