OneBlood is seeking a supervisor to oversee donor recruitment within a defined collection area and to manage blood drive accounts. You will ensure drives are scheduled efficiently and donor recruitment programs are developed and expanded to meet monthly production goals.

Your role includes enforcing recruitment policies, representing the center in the community, and ensuring staff compliance with regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Overview

Supervises the recruitment of blood donors in a defined collection area. Assists with all Donor Recruitment activities in a specific geographic area. Accountable for attaining pre-set production goals each month, and for efficiency of drives.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, develops, organizes and manages blood drive accounts in assigned area

• Represents blood center and/or acts as spokesperson in community when necessary.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English.
• Ability to perform tasks effectively utilizing digital technology and communication tools (smartphones, tablets, etc.)
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Hemasphere software
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to commute with personal transportation.
