HIAS seeks a Development Specialist in New York or Maryland offices, with remote options for eligible applicants. You will support donor cultivation through research, stewardship coordination, reporting, and operations to empower fundraisers.

You’ll analyze donor data, prepare profiles and briefing materials, maintain CRM records, and help manage donor communications, portfolios, and recognition activities to advance HIAS’s fundraising goals.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in nonprofit fundraising or donor operations.
• Strong analytical and research skills for fundraising insights.
• Proficient in donor CRM systems and research tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a donor focus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative, cross-team support mindset; aligns with HIAS mission.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth donor research to assess capacity and engagement.
• Provide donor profiles, briefing materials, and engagement recommendations.
• Assign donors to fundraiser portfolios and oversee reviews.
• Leverage wealth screening and industry reports for donor trends.
• Coordinate donor stewardship activities and recognition plans.
• Review gift reports and alert for follow-up actions.
• Support donor engagement activities, briefings, and events.
• Maintain donor records in the CRM (Raiser’s Edge).
• Generate reports tracking pipeline, progress, and campaigns.
• Manage data hygiene and CRM optimization.
• Ensure updated resources across Teams, SharePoint, etc.
• Serve as liaison among development, programs, finance, and communications.
• Support gift processing, acknowledgments, and pledge fulfillment.
• Assist in major donor meetings with insights and materials.
• Organize team and department meetings for information sharing.
• Draft SOPs and improve internal processes; central resource for staff.
• Lead development operations projects to strengthen donor stewardship.
