Job summary

Young‑Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Annual Giving Officer to grow philanthropic support and strengthen donor relationships across the giving ladder. You will develop a comprehensive annual giving program, acquire new donors, retain and upgrade supporters, and create meaningful opportunities to deepen donors’ connection to our mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of fundraising, annual giving, donor relations or nonprofit development preferred.
• Strong writing, storytelling and communications skills.
• Experience with donor databases/CRM systems and use of data to drive outreach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual giving strategy to increase donor acquisition, retention and upgrades.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects with tailored cultivation plans.
• Move qualified prospects into major gifts pipeline when appropriate.
• Grow monthly and recurring giving programs and set revenue goals.
• Coordinate with Advancement leadership on unrestricted and program-specific giving.
• Collaborate with Marketing and program staff to share compelling donor impact stories.
