Job summary

Goodwill NCW in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a team member to support donation processing in our backroom/warehouse environment. You will greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and help ensure accurate counts and organized inbound flow while upholding safety standards.

This role emphasizes reliability, basic math skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Training is provided, and experience with power equipment is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors to unload donations.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations.
• Safely load/unload trailers.
• Operate power equipment (stacker and power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor, tipper and forklift).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom area; assist with cleaning tasks.
• Sort donations into correct categories.
• Replace and label full gaylords; assist with building and breaking them down, and prepare for transport.
• Adhere to proper operation of pallet jack and compactor.
• Other duties as assigned.

WhatYou'llGetToDo:

• Greetsandassistsdonors in a prompt and friendly manner to safely unload donations from vehiclesandusesteam lifts as needed.
• Maintainsaccuratedaily counts of donations.
• Safely loads/unloads trailers.
• Operates power equipment (stacker and power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor,tipperand forklift).
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized backroom area; completes checklists andassistswith general cleaning tasks, including the donation drop-off lane.
• Sortsdonations into correct categories.
• Replaces and labels full gaylords,assistswith building and breaking them down, and prepares them for transport.
• Adheres to proper operation of pallet jack and compactor (if 18 years or older and trained/checked off).
• Other duties as assigned.

• Work is performed primarily in a standard retail backroom or warehouse environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.
• Primary function requires sufficient physical ability to repetitively:
• Stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Independently twist, lift, carry,pushor pull moderate (10 pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight; using a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds.
• Reach (approximately 54inches).
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
