Responsibilities

  • Greet donors in a prompt, friendly manner and assist with unloading donations as needed.

  • Safely load/unload trailers and operate power equipment as trained.
  • Keep backroom clean, organized, and stocked; assist with cleaning tasks and donation drop-off area.
  • Sort donations into correct categories and prepare items for transport.

What You’ll Get To Do:
  • Greetsandassistsdonors in a prompt and friendly manner to safely unload donations from vehiclesandusesteamliftsas needed.
  • Maintainsaccuratedaily countsofdonations.
  • Safely loads/unloads trailers.
  • Operates power equipment (stacker and power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor,tipperand forklift).
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized backroom area; completeschecklistsandassistswith general cleaning tasks, including the donation drop-off lane.
  • Sortsdonations into correct categories.
  • Replacesandlabelsfullgaylords,assistswith buildingandbreaking them down, andpreparesthem fortransport.
  • Adheresto proper operationof pallet jack and compactor (if18yearsorolderand trained/checkedoff).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Experience operating power equipment preferred.

  • Reliable transportation andability toworka flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular andtimely attendancein accordance withthe assigned work schedule.

  • Work is performed primarily in a standard retail backroom or warehouse environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.
  • Primary function requires sufficient physical ability to repetitively:
  • Standforprolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Independently twist, lift, carry,pushor pull moderate (10pounds) to heavy (25pounds) of weight; using a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds.
  • Reach (approximately 54inches).
  • Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
  • Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailedtasks.
  • Verbally communicate to exchange information.
