Job summary

University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks a Private Donor Funding Manager to lead stewardship and administration of restricted donor funds, including scholarships and endowed accounts. You will advise deans and directors on complex funding issues, manage allocations, and work closely with Development and Financial Aid.

You will supervise the Scholarship Coordinator, oversee donor funding workflows, and drive reporting, forecasting, and compliance across the college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of accounting, financial, scholarship, and/or related work experience.
• Strong communication and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with restricted donor funds and university policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consulting and leadership for private donor funding stewardship.
• Advise on donor restrictions, spendability, and related fiscal policies.
• Manage fund allocations, forecasting, and monthly reconciliations.
• Lead reporting, budgeting support, and cross-college process improvements.
• Coordinate with campus partners, Development, and Financial Aid.
