The University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for a Scholarship Operations Coordinator in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. This on-campus role offers some hybrid/remote schedule flexibility while maintaining the integrity of scholarship awards.

You will supervise a Scholarship Counselor, manage policy updates, and coordinate with UT Promise and donor-funded scholarships, ensuring eligibility and timely renewal across multi-year awards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of direct financial aid experience.
• Experience with scholarship policy guidelines and eligibility requirements.
• Familiarity with Ellucian Banner, OnBase, and TeamDynamix is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and train a Scholarship Counselor, including scheduling and workload prioritization.
• Identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Train campus users on the Scholarship Manager software.
• Collaborate with the scholarship counselor on Scholarship Manager support.
• Oversee institutional, donor-funded, merit- and need-based scholarships.
• Chair donor-funded scholarship selection committees when needed.
• Act as primary UT Promise Scholarship contact and liaise with UT System.
