• Screens and evaluates potential donors and discusses donation options with families according to hospital guidelines.
• Responds to donor referrals promptly and coordinates with hospital staff on donor suitability and authorization.
• Provides initial aftercare support and bereavement resources to families and hospital staff.
• Collaborates with OPO staff to optimize donor opportunities and engagement with families.
• Participates in donor education programs and assists with chart review, data collection and accreditation efforts.
• Works on a call schedule with flexible day and night hours to meet program needs.
