Job summary

Greater Houston Community Foundation seeks an Events & Donor Experience Coordinator to lead event logistics and donor stewardship. This role interfaces with donors, fundholders, advisors, and partners to deliver seamless, engaging experiences that strengthen relationships.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about creating meaningful donor experiences. Hybrid work is offered, with in-person event involvement and occasional travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in event planning, nonprofit management, donor relations, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and professional advisors preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM or event registration systems; familiarity with Salesforce, Pardot, Canva, and Monday.com preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution of events for donors, fundholders, professionals, nonprofits, and community engagement.
• Develop and manage event timelines, planning checklists, registrations, logistics, and calendars.
• Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, AV, signage, and materials; manage invitations and registrations.
