Job summary

Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a full-time Donor Event Manager to join our Development team. You will organize fundraising and stewardship events, build relationships with donors, partners, and vendors, and support donor engagement initiatives.

The role focuses on event management, sponsorships, budgets, and materials creation, with a strong emphasis on donor relations and recognition programs. On-site work is required in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 3–5 years of event management experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• Experience managing budgets and securing revenue from donors/sponsors.
• Familiarity with donor/customer relational databases is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent follow-up, acknowledgments, and event photography coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising and stewardship events from start to finish in collaboration with the Development team.
• Collaborate with event planners and assist in securing sponsorships for events.
• Draft and monitor event budgets, timelines, and run-of-show calendars; manage seating information.
• Create event materials with Marketing Communications; identify opportunities for engaging donor communities.
• Drive planning for donor stewardship and recognition programs and engagement with targeted donor groups.
