Job summary

ACE Scholarships in Denver seeks a Donor Engagement Manager to provide high-level support to the CEO and CDO, coordinating donor meetings, travel, and communications. This role for a nonprofit requires proactive organization, strong writing, and readiness for time-sensitive tasks, including evenings or weekends.

The position involves donor relations, event coordination, and collaboration with Marketing and Development teams across multiple states. Occasional travel to donor events is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting executives or donor-focused roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex calendars and travel logistics.
• Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate donor meetings, major gift planning and fundraising events.
• Draft and send follow-up notes, emails, and other materials.
• Prepare briefing documents and meeting materials for donor meetings.
• Manage travel arrangements and calendars for the CEO and CDO.
• Support webinars and meetings with major gift officers and stakeholders.
• Assist with donor prospecting and national partnerships.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on development strategy and messaging.
• Track responsibilities tied to annual goals and budget oversight.
