The Donor Engagement Manager at the Community Foodbank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) plays a key role in you will play an essential role in taking our Corporate Impact Partners program to the next level at our Egg Harbor Twp. location, by identifying new corporate partners, deepening relationships with existing partners, and outreaching potential corporate volunteer groups. You will collaborate with team members across the organization to increase and diversify CFBNJ’s corporate donor base, and to build meaningful plans to support and strengthen corporate engagement in our mission.

What you’ll do in your role:

Partnership Development: (40%)

  • Identify and engage with potential corporate partners and source avenues for collaboration.
  • Work alongside the development team to devise and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aimed at corporate partners and Follow up on leads identified within the Egg Harbor Township service area.
  • Organize employee engagement programs in collaboration with corporate partners, which include volunteer opportunities and workplace giving initiatives.
  • Foster and sustain relationships with current corporate partners to ensure their continued engagement and support.
  • Create and present compelling presentations to prospective corporate partners, highlighting the impact and advantages of supporting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication and alignment with the objectives and goals of corporate partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of corporate partnership initiatives, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.

Partner Engagement: (30%)

  • Process and code weekly donations in readiness for submission to Donor Services.
  • Reconcile revenue from special events and fundraising initiatives.
  • Assist the Egg Harbor Township Advisory Committee by taking meeting minutes and promptly distributing them to committee members.
  • Develop social media content to enhance the organization’s visibility.

Fundraising: (30%)

  • Steward donor relationships through updates, recognition, and impact reports.
  • Collaborate with the Director of External Affairs to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Secure sponsorships for special events.
  • Participate in teams and committees to develop expertise in CFBNJ initiatives.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
  • A bachelor's degree and 3+ years in business development, fundraising, or nonprofit management.
  • Familiarity with corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  • Strong research skills and knowledge of the New Jersey business community.
  • Strategic thinker passionate about social impact
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Responsiveness, exceptional customer service skills, professional demeanor, and positive attitude
  • Able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SalesForce experience is a plus
  • Ability to work at least three days per week in office, as well as flexibility to have a varied work schedule to accommodate CFBNJ and corporate partner events (may include evenings and weekends)

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $82,000 - $110,975. The final pay rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
