Job summary

Explore The Trades is seeking a Donor Engagement Specialist to lead a comprehensive donor strategy and cultivate relationships with industry partners. You will work with the Executive Director and staff to manage communications, grant proposals, and donor stewardship to support the organization’s mission.

Qualified candidates will have at least three years of nonprofit fundraising experience, familiarity with relevant trades industries, and proficiency with donor management software and MS 365

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in non-profit fundraising and/or sales (preferred).
• Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC and electrical industries (preferred).
• Experience with donor management software (Donor Perfect) and MS 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a donor engagement strategy with industry and foundation partners.
• Develop donor communications and grants proposals to sustain our mission.
• Cultivate donor relationships to meet KPIs for individuals and grants.
• Track donor metrics and collaborate with leadership on engagement activities.
