Job summary

Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana is seeking a Development Coordinator to support Individual Giving and Special Events. You will strengthen donor relationships, coordinate stewardship activities, and assist with fundraising campaigns across the chapter.

The role requires excellent communication, meticulous organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a donor-driven environment. The position is based in Stafford, TX, with a hybrid schedule and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nonprofit or marketing/communications role.
• Provide excellent customer service and representation of Make-A-Wish to external supporters.
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, detail-oriented and well organized.
• Strong written communication skills with ability to connect with different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support Individual Giving & Special Events to strengthen donor engagement.
• Coordinate stewardship activities, donor meetings, and event logistics.
• Maintain donor records and generate reports in Salesforce.
• Prepare materials for development staff and leadership, and assist with events.
