Job summary

Akin in Seattle seeks a Director of Individual Giving & Donor Engagement to lead and grow the donor program. Build strategies across annual giving, direct mail, digital fundraising, and donor communications to align with revenue goals.

You will partner with Finance, Marketing, Programs, and leadership to strengthen donor relationships and expand engagement across channels for sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, marketing, or related field with at least seven years in fundraising.
• At least five years of direct experience in individual giving and donor engagement.
• Experience managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns including direct mail and digital.
• Experience using donor segmentation and fundraising analytics.
• Experience developing donor-facing fundraising communications.
• Experience supervising staff and managing revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead an integrated individual giving program across annual giving and digital channels.
• Develop moves management and lifecycle strategies to grow donor value.
• Set annual and multi-year revenue goals and track performance.
• Coordinate donor communications and fundraising collateral.
• Partner with Major Gifts, Marketing, Programs, and Finance.
• Identify opportunities to re-engage lapsed donors.
