The South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, SC is seeking an Individual Giving Officer to advance annual giving programs and donor relations under the Senior Giving Programs Officer.

You will manage a defined portfolio of donors and prospects, execute annual appeals, stewardship and engagement initiatives, and collaborate with Advancement and Strategic Communications to grow philanthropic support.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of annual giving, donor engagement, stewardship, and relationship management.
• Ability to cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
• Experience with donor analytics and segmentation.

• Manage a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects with cultivation, solicitation, renewal, upgrade, and stewardship.
• Engage donors in Watershed Society and Conservation Stewards to grow gifts.
• Identify donors with capacity to move toward major giving.
• Execute annual giving appeals including direct-mail and digital communications.
• Track results and provide insights to Senior Giving Programs Officer.
• Lead the Annual Report project with cross-divisional collaboration.
• Oversee the Make Your Mark recognition program onsite.
• Collaborate across divisions to develop donor communications.
