Job summary

D Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch thrift stores in Minot, ND, are seeking team members to support donors and customers in a fast-paced retail setting. You will lift and sort donations, price items, and help maintain a safe, friendly store environment.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and capable of standing, walking, lifting, and moving items for extended periods. Flexible to work weekends as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude.
• Ability to work well with donors and customers.
• Comfort with standing, walking, lifting, and moving items.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and donors in a pleasant and efficient manner.
• Assist donors in a pleasant and efficient manner. Lifts and carries goods for donors from and to their vehicles.
• Loads and unloads trucks with bags and/or boxes of donated goods.
• Sort through donations and allocate them to appropriate storage areas.
• Work closely with other team members and communicate clearly with the store management when needed.
• Pricing of goods/items as needed.
• Maintains a safe working environment.
• May occasionally supervise volunteer and community service workers.
• Willingness to train new team members.

Schedule:

• Ability to work 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. shift and rotating weekends.

Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift, stoop, bend, and twist.
