Job summary

New York Botanical Garden is seeking a Data Operations Coordinator to join the Data Strategies & Operations team in New York, NY. You will process daily gifts and membership transactions, support deposits, and assist with reconciliations and data reviews.

The role strengthens team redundancy through cross-training and process documentation. You will maintain donor records, ensure data integrity, and back up daily operations during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in data entry or data operations roles.
• Strong attention to detail with recurring processing work.
• Experience with databases/spreadsheets and related platforms.
• Familiarity with Raiser's Edge NXT, Siriusware, Unit4 or Omatic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily gifts and membership transactions with accuracy.
• Prepare weekly departmental deposits and supporting documents.
• Assist with reconciliation and ERP data reviews as needed.
• Support data quality reviews and record cleanup tasks.
• Maintain donor records with attention to duplicates and coding accuracy.
• Back up daily operations during absences and peak periods.
• Document procedures and participate in cross-training.
• Assist testing, cleanup, reporting, and project support for data ops initiatives.
• Respond to routine questions and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
