Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast is seeking a team member to help with customer service, donor greeting, and donation processing. Under supervision, you will help maintain accurate donor records, break down donations, and support safety and store standards.

This role requires reliable transportation, evening and weekend work, and the ability to stand for extended periods while lifting up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and communicate verbally and perform basic math.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team leader, members, customers and donors.
• Ability to work within a team situation.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance.
• Ability to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Greet donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; assist with unloading donations and providing tax receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations and donor records.
• Break down donations into categories and keep work area clean and organized.
• Operate safety equipment and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Adhere to company policies, safety rules, and orderly store procedures.
• Attend trainings and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
