Job summary

Parachute is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Center Director in overseeing all aspects of the Donor Center. You’ll help manage operations, donor flow, and safety while maintaining a donor-centric environment and delivering a great experience.

Responsibilities include strategy, planning, efficiency improvements, and personnel development. The role requires travel for training and the ability to lead a fast-paced, compliant team in a growing network.

Qualifications

• Educational background or relevant experience in a similar field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Ability to travel by plane and/or car on occasion.
• Physical: able to lift 50 lbs and work in a cold environment.
• Ability to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support and partner with the Center Director on strategy and planning to meet center goals.
• Monitor and evaluate center operations and implement improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability.
• Lead onboarding and development of center staff.
• Oversee training and performance reviews with the Center Director.
