Job summary

KEDPLASMA is seeking a Medical Screener in Texas to support donor safety and eligibility. You will greet donors, collect data, and guide them through the health screening process in a community-focused plasma center.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, performing fingerstick hematocrit and total protein measurements, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and FDA standards. This is a full-time role with flexible hours and a focus on accurate, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• FDA, cGMP, OSHA familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Guide donors through screening and determine if medical review is needed.
• Perform vital signs and fingerstick sampling for hematocrit/total protein.
• Prepare equipment and troubleshoot as needed per SOPs.
• Monitor donor safety and report adverse reactions.
• Explain the donation process and center policies clearly.
• Maintain donor records meeting regulatory requirements.
• Operate NDDR and CDCS per guidelines.
• Keep work area clean and stocked; update lot numbers.
• Support plasmapheresis process and donor comfort.
• Assist with center audits and documentation.
