Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking Donations Sorters/Pricers to greet donors, unload donations, and provide friendly, informed service at the point of donation and receipt handling. You will help price merchandise and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced setting.

Roles may include cross-training in cash register and clothing/tagging tasks; occasional lifts up to 50 lbs and regular 10–35 lb lifts, with hours across store times including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
• Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment- taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
• Position may include cross-training in Cash Register, Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
