Job summary

Goodwill Industries of San Diego County in Oceanside is seeking a Processing Worker I to sort, inspect, price, and stock donated goods. You will assist on the sales floor and provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and up to 6 months of processing experience or completion of a Goodwill employment program. Knowledge of brand-name clothing is a plus; computer skills are minimal.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, price and tally donations produced for sales floor.
• Pushes racks and carts to retail floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
• Opens and closes donations area; safeguards donations and keeps processing and donation areas clean, safe and organized.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assists truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
