Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Processing Worker I to sort, inspect, price, and stock donated goods. You will assist on the sales floor as needed and provide excellent service to donors and customers.

The role involves moving donations, opening/closing donation areas, and supporting truck loading tasks. A GED or high school diploma is preferred, with at least 6 months of processing experience or GISD program completion.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Processor experience: Minimum of 6 months of recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
• Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise brands is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, Inspect, clean, price and tally donations produced for sales floor.
• Pushes racks and carts to retail floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
• Opens and closes donations area. Accepts and safeguards donations and keeps processing and donation areas in a clean, safe and organized manner.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assists truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
