Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana, Inc. in Fort Wayne is seeking a Material Handler for our Operations Center on Brooklyn Ave. This full-time role starts on the 1st shift, with weekend availability required.

You will collect donations, issue tax receipts, hand-sort goods, and assist drivers on pickups and deliveries between stores, the center and the corporate office. Ideal candidates are friendly, dependable, able to stand all day and perform heavy lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally,

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting required in daily tasks.
• Ability to handle donated items and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks manually, with hand truck or pallet jack.
• Accepts donations and distributes tax receipts.
• Pre-sorts donations as required.
• Assists and follows the driver on route and pickups.
• Keeps area and trucks clean and neat.
• Follows safety rules and practices.
