Austin Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is seeking a team‑oriented ReStore associate to assist customers, donors and volunteers in our Austin ReStore, supporting daily operations and advancing our mission to build homes and strong communities.

Responsibilities include managing donations, arranging pickups, supervising volunteers, ensuring safety, keeping the store organized, and delivering courteous service that exceeds donor expectations.

Formación

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; forklift certification and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers, donors and volunteers for the ReStore operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer/donor service and satisfaction.
• Take action and solve problems in a professional manner.
• Must multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Ensure all donations are wrapped and protected for delivery.
• Oversee volunteers and train accordingly.
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors and community to increase donations.
• Follow safety rules when loading vehicles and inspect trucks before use.
• Unloading, organizing and maintaining cleanliness of the assigned area.
