Job summary

People Serving People Inc. seeks a full-time driver/inventory associate to operate our vehicles, pick up and manage donations, and support shelter operations in Minneapolis. You will record donations, sort items for departments, and redistribute surplus goods to nonprofits.

A Class D license and DOT readiness are required, with lifting up to 75 lbs and basic computer skills. The role offers a daytime schedule, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) with employer contribution, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years' experience driving a delivery truck.
• One year of warehouse and inventory management.
• Able to lift 75 pounds regularly.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Class D driver's license and ability to be DOT certified.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to email.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and stand/move for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and record donations from donors.
• Sort and distribute donations to proper departments.
• Redistribute unneeded donations to other not‑for‑profit organizations.
• Unload and oversee distribution of all deliveries.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Keep company vehicles maintained.
• Assist the facilities team as needed.
