Job summary

Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County is seeking a Material Handler to assist in all phases of dock operations. The role reports to the Dock Lead and Senior Manager of Logistics and Aftermarket.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, keeping the dock organized, delivering full bins, meeting deadlines, and lifting at least 20 lbs. Fluent English and basic instruction comprehension are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of positive work history preferably warehouse experience.
• Fluent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Ability to understand simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and trailers as part of dock operations.
• Keep the dock area clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver full bins to respective areas.
• Meet deadlines and respond to special needs.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 20 lbs.
• Report safety hazards to the department manager.
• Attend general assembly, department, and safety meetings as required.
• Cooperate with the Lead, Transportation Manager, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
