Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Donation Attendant to staff the store and assist donors with donations and questions. You will help unload donations, issue tax receipts, and maintain accurate counts while keeping the area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to handle donations with accuracy and care.
• Willingness to work a variety of schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service to donors and customers.
• Greet donors, co-workers and customers promptly and courteously.
• Assist with unloading donations and tax receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations.
• Report daily counts to the store manager or system.
• Clean, price and transport furniture to sales floor promptly.
• Prepare items for shipment and sort donated goods into categories.
• Cross train in production and sale of goods.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales and production quotas.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.
• Adhere to two-hour floor check lists and safety protocols.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Transport donated goods to production areas and designated locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area including drive-thru station.
• Dispose of trash appropriately and report hazards.
• Follow all policies, dress code, and other duties as assigned.
