Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift is seeking a Driver to operate a box truck, pick up donated items from donors, and ensure safe loading and transport to the warehouse. You will interact professionally with donors and maintain accurate donations records.

You will follow routes, document donor information and item descriptions, and help ensure items are securely transported while delivering friendly customer service and representing the organization well.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving box trucks and loading donations safely.
• Familiarity with traffic laws for large vehicles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck following all traffic rules and regulations.
• Follow designated pickup routes efficiently to maximize donations collected.
• Communicate with donors courteously and professionally during pickups.
• Load and unload donated items into and out of the pickup vehicle safely.
• Maintain accurate records of donations, including donor information and item descriptions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the organization positively.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns after trips.
• Follow health and safety protocols when handling items.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized for processing.
