Job summary

Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies is seeking a Team Member to help meet store daily goals by processing donated goods and running the cash register. The role includes greeting customers, assisting donors, processing receipts, and maintaining accurate inventory and store cleanliness.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading donations, sanitizing items per state law, and operating a pallet jack when needed. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and longer shifts is required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience needed.
• Must pass background checks including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and Pennsylvania Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors.
• Assist customers.
• Process receipts and returns.
• Maintain cash register procedures.
• Handle donations and inventory.
• Load and unload donated goods.
• Sanitize items as required by state law.
• Operate pallet jack if applicable.
• Clock in/out using UKG system.
• Complete training and work with the team.
• Maintain hygiene and grooming standards.
• Walk and stand for long periods.
