Job summary

St. Matthew’s House (Southwest Florida) in Fort Myers is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive donations, sort merchandise, and process items according to our procedures.

You will help keep warehouses clean and organized while supporting donors and team members in a faith-based, safety-focused environment. No prior experience is required as training is provided; overtime and some holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Travel Demands: Some overtime and occasional holiday work.
• Mental/Visual Demands: Normal mental and visual capabilities.
• Physical Demands: Lift and move items up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Working Areas: Warehouse and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort incoming donations and merchandise.
• Process donations according to procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, restrooms and sorting areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading donated items.
• Move items between warehouses as needed.
