Job summary

Salvation Army Corp in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a team member to assist with donation pickups and warehouse duties. You will ride in a Salvation Army truck to collect items, help load, and ensure safe handling while respecting policies.

You may assist in sorting, pricing, pricing items for display, and helping customers in the thrift store. This role also includes routine vehicle maintenance, keeping facilities clean, and contributing to a positive donor experience.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience lifting and hauling heavy items such as appliances and furniture.
• No formal education required.

Responsibilities

• Rides in a Salvation Army truck on a scheduled route to pick up donated items and loads them into the truck.
• Assists the driver with navigation and ensures donation safety and policy compliance.
• Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display in the thrift store.
• Maintains warehouse and store area cleanliness and organization.
• Prepares donation receipts and maintains good donor relations.
