Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Production Assistant to complete driving routes for donation pickups and drop-offs at the warehouse, boxes, and donor homes. You will ensure vehicle safety, perform inspections, and maintain accurate records while representing the organization with courtesy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, coordinating with thrift store staff, and supervising a Truck Helper in a rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and pass driving test.
• DOT Physical required; medical card may be required.
• Able to read maps and plan daily routes.
• Must be capable of using iPad with GPS and truck inspection report.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive routes for pickup and/or drop off of donations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain clean cab and ensure safe loading/unloading of goods.
• Plan daily routing and call scheduled pickups, including boxes.
• Represent The Salvation Army professionally and follow dress code.
