Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Production Clerk to assist in the collection, processing, stocking, and sale of used goods. You will process donations, prepare merchandise for movement to the sales floor, and may operate a cash register.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and merchandising tasks in a retail environment. Responsibilities include handling donations, maintaining cleanliness, stocking, and assisting with transportation preparation.

Competenze

• Basic math skills and ability to make changes.
• Ability to pick up, handle, inspect and sort varieties of textile and houseware items.
• Ability to lift/carry 30 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

• Greet donors and customers and display great customer service.
• Process raw donations into sellable merchandise.
• Hang textile garments according to established procedures.
• Keep areas clean, including inside and outside the store.
• Sort material and stock material in stores.
• Maintain textile category, sizing and quality of goods on the retail sales floor.
• Arrange shoes, media and accessory items on the retail sales floor.
• Rotate stock in accordance with defined guidelines.
• Recover product on sales floor to ensure merchandising guidelines.
• Prepare material for transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
