Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Kentucky is seeking a Production Clerk at the Shelbyville store to assist in the collection, processing, stocking, and sale of used goods. The role involves processing donations, preparing for movement to the sales floor, and occasional cashier duties.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, greeting donors and customers, stocking and merchandising, and maintaining clean and organized store areas. Regular lifting and material handling are required.

Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to handle and sort donations and merchandise.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follows all defined safety absolutes.
• Greet donors and customers with strong customer service.
• Process raw donations into sellable merchandise.
• Hang Textile garments according to procedures.
• Keep store areas clean inside and outside.
• Sort material and stock stores.
• Maintain textile category, sizing and quality on the floor.
• Arrange shoes, media and accessories on the floor.
• Rotate stock per merchandising guidelines.
• Recover product on the sales floor to meet guidelines.
• Prepare material for transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
