The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Donation Processing Associate in Waukesha, WI. The role focuses on welcoming donors, processing donations, and supporting daily production activities to keep operations running smoothly.

You will manage receipts and donor information, maintain an organized donation area, and assist with sorting and loading donations. This position offers part-time hours with opportunities for training and growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or donation center settings preferred.
• Ability to handle donations accurately and maintain receipts.
• Strong interpersonal skills for donor interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and assist in a friendly, professional manner.
• Receive and track donated goods per center policies.
• Provide donation receipts and collect donor information as required.
• Keep donation area clean, safe, and organized.
• Safeguard donated materials and equipment.
• Explain donation guidelines and decline unacceptable items when needed.
• Assist with sorting, loading, and unloading donations and Salvation Army trucks.
• Support production processes, including sorting merchandise.
• Report safety concerns or damages promptly.
• Maintain a neat appearance per dress code.
• Assist at other store locations or with additional duties as needed.
