Job summary

Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region is seeking a Full Time Donation Attendant at our Lakewood, WA store. The role involves processing and sorting donations from the community, greeting donors, and handling receipts with a strong focus on customer service.

The position supports the donation center operations, including maintaining clean donation areas and aiding in unloading/loading of trucks. Training on equipment will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Greets donors, carries donations from donor’s vehicle to the center, and provides donor receipt if requested.
• Maintains all required records and delivers them as scheduled.
• Exercises good judgement in determining acceptable donations and communicates decisions politely.
• Training on Gaylord and pallet use will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from donors and issue receipts as necessary.
• Keep donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris.
• Assist in unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers.
• Provide donor receipts and exceptional customer service at the point of donation.
