Job summary

Knox Area Rescue Ministries is hiring a Full Time Donation Processor for the Sherlake Store in Knoxville, TN. Entry-level pay ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, with benefits, PTO, and a 90‑day raise eligibility. Schedule includes Sundays off and some Saturdays; hours are 9a–6p.

Duties include accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise, and meeting daily production goals (35 pieces per hour) in a fast-paced environment. Stand; lift up to 50 pounds; follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
• Commitment to KARM Stores’ mission.
• Computer skills including typing and web browsing.
• Ability to interpret and follow written or oral instructions.
• Proficiency to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations, presort and price merchandise.
• Achieve daily and weekly production goals (35 pieces per hour).
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Carry out duties while living out the organization’s mission and values.
