Job summary

Goodwill of Silicon Valley in San Jose, CA seeks a Retail Donor Greeter I (Part Time) to warmly welcome donors, receive donations, and ensure a positive donation experience. You will help organize donations for processing and maintain a clean, safe donation area in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include following standard procedures, greeting donors within 15 seconds, issuing receipts, assisting with sorting, loading trucks, and keeping accurate donation counts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general arithmetic is required.
• Proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Follow Current Standard Operating Procedures for Donation Process.
• Greet all donors within 15 seconds of arrival.
• Accepts donations from customers, provides physical receipts or offers digital receipts and thanks all donors.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinates with sorters to maintain continuous product flow and ensure empty boxes are readily available for operations.
• Loads and unloads company trucks and trailers.
• Follows and enforces all company procedures.
