Goodwill Industries—Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Donation Center Attendant at the Northshore ADC in Knoxville, TN. You will greet donors, receive and sort donations, and assist customers with recycling and disposal needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean center, producing a positive donor experience, and working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Energetic and flexible with excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Greet donors and handle donations professionally.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking full-time Donation Center Attendant. Ideal candidates will be energetic, flexible, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Summary:

Responsible for receiving all donated items from contributors at Donation/Recycle Center. Responsible for sorting all donations into proper categories. Assist customers in the disposal of recyclable materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive donations: greet donors, accept and unload donated materials, and thank donors for their donated items.
• Ensure that all donated goods received, inspected, sorted and placed into holding bins.
• Assist customers in the disposal of recycled materials.
• Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) donation center inside and outside area are clean and safe.
• Customer service activities (including but not limited to) greeting, assisting, and thanking donors in a positive/professional manner.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
