Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant for the Manchester Store in Manchester. The role focuses on friendly donor interactions, accurate processing of donations, and maintaining a clean, organized retail area.

Hourly full-time position with an hourly rate of $15.50 and bonus potential of up to $250 per month. Eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Strong communication with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and donor assistance.
• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate merchandise.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Keep store area clean and well-organized, rotate stock, and maintain safety.
