Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
• Must have good work habits, such as acceptable attitude and punctuality.
• Must respond appropriately to supervision.
• Must possess adequate physical endurance to work at industrial standards.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from the general public
• Treat all donors and all donations with respect
• Assist every donor in unloading donated items from donor's vehicles
• Offer every donor a donation tax receipt and sign receipts acknowledging acceptance of donations
• Thank every donor for their donation
• Dress appropriately in accordance with Goodwill dress code
• Maintain interior and exterior of the ADC assuring cleanliness, neatness, and orderliness
• Maintain safe conditions for donors and staff and report accidents or unsafe conditions
• In winter, keep donor access clear of snow and ice
• Store donations safely and maximize ADC/trailer space
• Ensure all donations left outside are moved inside promptly
• Record total daily donors and assist loading/unloading of Goodwill trucks
• Cross train in other areas and politely refuse donations that do not meet standards
