Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut, Inc. is seeking friendly individuals to join our donation centers and support our mission of helping others in the local community.

As a Donation Center Attendant, you will assist donors, process donations, and help maintain a welcoming, organized environment. We offer both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities with shifts Monday through Saturday 8-6 and Sunday 10-6.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully accept donations from donors and assist with moving items from vehicles into the center.
• Provide receipts to donors and thank them for supporting Goodwill’s mission.
• Sort donations into proper sections or bins by category.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and orderly donation area.

As a Goodwill Donation Center Attendant, you would be an essential part of ensuring the success of our stores and Goodwill’s mission. When an Attendant collects donations from generous patrons, they aren’t just doing their job but also helping others in the community.

Full Time & Part Time Opportunities available

Available Hours:

Monday-Saturday 8-6 and Sunday 10-6

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Being prepared for considerable standing, reaching, lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift over 40 pounds.
