Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut is hiring a Donation Center Attendant in Greenwich, CT. The role focuses on cheerfully accepting donations, assisting donors, and maintaining an orderly donation area to support the nonprofit mission.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Regular full-time hours are Monday through Friday with weekend shifts as listed.

• Willingness to perform physical tasks and assist donors.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully accept donations from donors and assist them with moving items from their vehicle into the center.
• Provide receipts to donors and thank them for supporting Goodwill’s mission.
• Sort/separate the incoming donations into proper sections or bins based on product category.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, answering any customer inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and orderly donation area.
