Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is seeking a friendly Donation Center Attendant to be the first point of contact for donors. You will help unload donations, issue tax receipts, and maintain an organized, safe site while reflecting Goodwill’s mission and values.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, recording information, sorting donations, and ensuring proper use of equipment. This role requires customer service excellence, reliability, and physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds.

Formación

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, weekends, or different locations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.

Responsabilidades

• Greet donors promptly and courteously, assisting with unloading donations and providing tax receipts.
• Accurately record donor information and maintain daily donation counts.
• Sort donations into appropriate categories (saleable, salvage, or trash).
• Keep the donation site clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Safeguard all donated items and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Support transportation or site operations as needed and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
