Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring to join our store team at Litchfield Park, AZ. You will lead a superior customer and brand experience, assist with donations, and support sales floor operations. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

You will be trained to handle donations, label items, process receipts, and aid customers with loading and unloading while maintaining organization and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Responsible for correctly labeling Gaylords.
• Ensures that a receipt is offered to each donor, regardless of the size of the donation.
• Inquiries about hazardous donations and provides disposal guidance as needed.
• Writes up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture and other large items.
• Assists customers with loading and unloading furniture or items to and from vehicles.
• Maintains merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Assists in loading/unloading merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Operates pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and conducts daily safety inspections.
• Follows safety rules and uses appropriate equipment.
• Performs floor care duties at the retail store as needed.
• Cross-trains in other store positions as business needs.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance.
