Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Inc. is hiring an Entry-level Donation Center Associate at our Centerton location. In this role you will assist contributors with donations, move materials, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

You will uphold ACE culture, greet customers, and support team goals while learning essential warehouse and customer service skills. HS diploma and 0–6 months related experience preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs required.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• 0–6 months related experience or training.
• Ability to lift and move donations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accepts donations by providing assistance to contributors and issuing donation receipts.
• Maintains a professional and courteous attitude and flexible to new duties.
• Commits to self and job improvement and team building.
• Treats every customer and contributor as if they were a GUEST in their home. GUEST stands for Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest and Thank.
• Pre-sort donations, separates salvage and removes.
• Uses hand truck to move materials around donation center and within the store.
• Accepts donations of good quality and politely refuses unacceptable items.
• Pre-sorts donations by established categories and safely packs for transport.
• Helps unload unfinished goods from truck and moves to proper staging area and assists team members with distribution of goods.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Completes accurate daily and weekly records when assigned.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
