Job summary

Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region in Federal Way, WA is seeking a part-time Donation Attendant to join our donation processing team. The role focuses on accepting donations, maintaining clean donation areas, and supporting unloading/loading of trucks with training provided.

Customer service is essential as you greet donors, provide receipts, and determine whether donations are acceptable. You will also keep records and coordinate with supervisors and drivers as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Accepting donations from donors and issues receipts as necessary
• Keeps donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris
• Training on Gaylord and pallet use will be provided
• Assists in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills: greets donors, carries donations from donor’s vehicle to the center, and provides donor receipt if requested.
• Exercises good judgement in determining which donations are acceptable while communicating that decision to the customer effectively and politely as possible.
• Maintains all required records and delivers them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.

Right now our Federal Way, WA store is seeking a Part Time Donation Attendant!

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour

Position Summary:

As a member of the Goodwill production team, Donation Attendants will be responsible for processing and sorting the donations provided by our community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Donation Attendant responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:

• Accepting donations from donors and issues receipts as necessary


• Keeps donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris


• Training on Gaylord and pallet use will be provided


• Assists in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers
